Dr. Alison Bramer Cummings is a life long resident of Western New York and both founder and president of Inner Balance Chiropractic.
She graduated from Allegheny College in Western Pennsylvania with a BS degree in Psychology, with a minor in English and Chemistry. Dr. Cummings completed a grant funded two-year research project titled, "Patient satisfaction, functional ability, perception of pain, and chiropractic care."
A graduate of "The Fountainhead" Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Cummings has trained in Iowa, Washington, Oklahoma, Illinois, Canada, and Vietnam. While at Palmer, she served on the curriculum advisory board, worked as an intern in Clinical Radiology, and was a member of the women's soccer team. Upon graduation, Dr. Cummings earned distinguished honors of academic and clinical excellence. Dr. Cummings is a trained NUCCA practitioner and has studied amongst renowned NUCCA Doctors.
Dr. Cummings returned to the Western New York area in 2003 with her husband, Ryan and currently practices NUCCA Chiropractic at Inner Balance Chiropractic in Amherst, NY. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the New York Chiropractic Council. She is actively involved in the community and frequently presents health and wellness workshops to businesses and private organizations.
